My approach is intuitive and exploratory, moving freely between materials, techniques and forms of expression. Each work evolves through its own creative process, often taking unexpected directions along the way.

This collection offers a glimpse into that continuing exploration.

Future Worlds Unfurling

Inspired by the extraordinary experience of witnessing an egg being released during an ultrasound, Future Worlds Unfurling explores the infinite possibilities contained within a single moment.

I found myself contemplating the possibility of another human life coming into existence — a new person, an entirely different future, another path through the world.

The painting reflects on the countless lives and futures that might unfold, and the extraordinary potential held within the smallest beginnings.

The War Within

The War Within explores the conflict between our inner knowing and our conscious resistance to change.

At times, an inner voice urges us towards a particular path, even when our rational mind questions or resists it. The work reflects this struggle between intuition and conscious thought — the competing voices within us, each pulling in a different direction.

It is about the tension between what we instinctively feel compelled to do and what we are prepared to accept.

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty explores the authentic self that lies hidden beneath the many faces we present to the world.

The sleeping figure rests underground, concealed beneath a profusion of flowers. Each flower represents a different public face — the identities and personas we adopt as we move through life.

Beneath them all lies our authentic self, quietly waiting to be recognised.

Ethereal Dance of the Seahorse Triad

Ethereal Dance of the Seahorse Triad is a richly layered textile artwork, bringing together fibres, embroidery, stitching, beads and embellishment.

The composition creates an intricate underwater world, where seahorses, marine forms and textured surfaces emerge through colour, thread and fabric.

Exhibited at the 2024 ATASDA 50th Anniversary Exhibition.

The 3 Muses

Free-motion sculptural embroidery, scrim, cotton, silk, threads and metallics.

Created for the collaborative Golden Cape celebrating ATASDA's 50th Anniversary in 2024.

Inspired initially by a historical piece from the ATASDA collection, The 3 Muses evolved into an original textile composition through an intuitive creative process.

Layered fabrics, sculptural embroidery and metallic threads bring the three faces together, each emerging with its own character and expression.
